STUDENT, AMATEUR, PROFESSIONAL

COMPETITION SUBMISSION:

Step 1: Register your entries by clicking the link ABOVE between June 3, 9 am – June 18, 10 pm. The link goes live on June 3, 9 am.

Step 2: Download and print the entry form ABOVE and fill it out completely BEFORE bringing your artwork to the Hemming Village lobby. Then, Bring the physical artwork with the completed entry form to the Hemming Village on June 20, 1 pm – 6 pm.

RULES, TERMS, & CONDITIONS

–The AGR reserves the right to remove, at its sole discretion, any entries from the competition that are deemed not appropriate for our venue. Such entries will be disqualified. 
–You must have full copyright (original creation by you) to any submitted material. By submitting an entry, you will be presumed to have agreed to accept the Competition rules, terms, and conditions.

  • Limit two entries per person.
  • Entries may include any 2-dimensional art medium, including drawing, painting, photography, or mixed media. (3-dimensional artwork will not be accepted at this time)
  • Only ORIGINAL work will be acceptable, and all artwork must have been completed in the past three years.
  • ALL ENTRIES must be FRAMED. Frame must have ONE sawtooth hanger in the CENTER or must have a WIRE in between two D-rings or two eye hooks. No taped hardware will be accepted, if it is deemed that the hanging device is not secure, your piece will not be accepted. 
  • Artwork cannot exceed 6 ft. on its largest dimension. Framed works that hang on a wall cannot exceed 8ft. in height. Artworks exceeding 100 lb or over 8ft. in any dimension must be approved by AGR staff in advance by emailing details to info@artgrowsrexburg.org.
  • Online registration must be completed before Tues. 10 pm on June 18, and the paper entry form(s) -found above- must be filled out for each entry before arriving at Hemming Village for submission. Please read the disclaimer carefully and fill out all fields in the survey.

  • Entries must be available for display throughout the entire length of the exhibition.
  • Entries must be submitted in person at the lobby of Hemming Village (160 West 2nd South) on June 20, 1 pm – 5 pm.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • June 3, 9 am – June 18, 10 pm- Online entry registration.
  • June 20, 1 pm – 6 pm – Physical artwork submission at the Hemming Village lobby. Each artwork must accompany a completed entry form.
  • June 27, 6 pm – 7 pm: Award Ceremony in The Atrium at Hemming Village.
  • June 28 – July 17, (9 am-9 pm, M-Sat.): The exhibit is open to the public.
  • July 18, 3 pm – 5 pm: Self- pick-up: check out at the volunteer table.
